In the summer of 2025 we installed a rainwater capture system in our cabin in Alto, New Mexico. It’s a pretty remote area and not a lot of people doing steel water capture tanks. Most used smaller polypropylene tanks that are ugly and required linking multiple tanks together, which is more complicated and much more likely to leak. We receive several bids. Dan Moncrief with Living Waters was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable and competitive. They showed up on time and stayed focused on the task and until it completed in about three days. Dan helped us think through what tank best fit our situation. Due to snow load weight possibilities encouraged a pitched roof tank. All the overflow, fire hydrant hook up and flow into the cabin are inside the tank and underground. It’s a very clean look which should function well in freezing weather. His crews were focused, honest hard workers. I hardly endorse Living Waters. To our great surprise and benefit; there was a substantial water district financial incentive to do rainwater capture. When the water district inspected our tank, they said it was by far the best looking most professional job they’s seen. I’d encourage all to explore if there is a cost offset available in your area.

Because of so many homes being built and wells being dug around us we now have a water problem. Daniel at Living Water Industries solved our problem when he installed a 5000-gallon Pioneer tank next to our house (and also a booster pump). While our neighbors run out of water, we have water! Thank you, Dan, so much. He also installed a 2800 Gallon water harvesting tank to catch the rain and water our plants. That is a huge savings on our water bill!

When I first met Dan to have him install a rainwater harvesting system, I had a 650-gallon underground tank that I was planning to install. He advised me that it would not be enough capacity for the catchment area. He designed a system with above ground tanks and encouraged me to install them on each end of the house where the water comes off of the roof.
